Ah, spring cleaning is the nicest way to put it. It is more like getting rid of crap, but that doesn't sound as nice. I enjoyed being able to stay home for the weekend, but then I kep on adding stuff to my "to do" list and pretty soon it was a mile long! I felt like I cleaned all weekend, but our house looks good so I am happy for the moment. I have another huge bag to donate to goodwill and I will be more than thrilled to drop it off.
We finally purchased our bistro table to put in the kitchen. We had been looking at the same table at Target for several weeks and they finally put it on clearance. It was a steal of a deal! Cam put it together last night. It looks really nice and complements the space and our other furniture.
The next couple of weeks are shaping up to be pretty busy.....let the craziness begin!

Olympia
In typical fashion we had to cram a million things into our weekend. Of course, this weekend was no exception. While we both ran around town and did errands on Friday we were also getting ready to leave for Olympia in the morning. I usually spend Saturday morning doing stuff around the house so I was feeling slightly flustered after work on Friday. Both of our work weeks were really busy and I didn't get much done around the house. Cam started spring quarter so he was gone on both Wednesday & Thursday night and my planner was full of activities to keep me busy.
The reason for our quick and randomly planned trip was so that we could transport Cam's Mazda to his uncle's house. His uncle had purchased the pick up several weeks ago and with his busy schedule he didn't know when he would be available to make the trip to Spokane to retrieve it. He also happened to have a motorcycle that Cam wanted to look at because he was thinking about buying it. Conveniently, he sold his motorcycle on Thursday.
I was pretty tired from the week in general, but was even more exhausted after my class on Saturday. We had to drive separately so by the time we arrive in Olympia I could barely keep my eyes open. Once we got settled in, I took about a 90 minute nap and that never happens. It was awesome and much needed. I could have kept on sleeping, but I didn't want to miss dinner!
I got up early and had an awesome and scenic 10 mile run through Olympia. It was refreshing and fun to run in a different location for a change.
Cam decided to purchase his uncle's motorcycle so we brought that back to Spokane with us. It matches Roxy quite nicely, but doesn't have a name yet. I will post pictures once Cam gets it cleaned up.

Deserted Hubby
I feel kind of bad right now for deserting Cam so much lately. Good thing he has Tia & Maisy to keep him company. This last Monday, I got invited to watch the GU Women's bball team play UCLA. The game was awesome, they won, and Courtney Vandersloot broke an NCAA record. This last weekend I got invited to watch them play at the Spokane Arena in the Sweet Sixteen against Louisville. Our seats were awesome and the crowd was crazy. They won and for the first time ever will get to play in the Elite 8 against Stanford on Monday. Guess who gets to go and watch them play? Me! I do!
Tonight I am going to watch the 9 to 5 musical with Tom & Mags. Hence, I am never home and Cam has been deserted. I will mention that he had a chance to get the Broadway musical season pass with us and he said no. I don't think that Legally Blonde the musical sounded too fun for him. :)
Yesterday I was home for most of the day so Cam started to teach me how to ride Roxy. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! Granted I only practiced in first gear, but I was going up and down our street. I probably looked ridiculous, but it was fun.
This morning we took the girlies to Starbucks for their weekend treat. They are so spoiled, but love going....

Roxy
Cam finally talked me into taking my motorcycle endorsement class. At first I couldn't believe I had signed up and almost called to cancel. In the end I decided that it could be fun and something that we could do together this summer. I am taking the class May 6th, 7th, & 8th. I am a little nervous, but I am in a class that is just for the girls. Should be fun and maybe not as stressful.
We went and looked at bikes last week. Cam kind of had an idea of what I might like and he was pretty much right! I didn't want anything too big and I liked the color silver. After looking at bikes around town he went on Craigslist and find the exact bike that I liked at a really good deal. The only bad thing was that it was in Grand Coulee. We both had never been there before so we trekked off after work on Tuesday to go and look at the bike. The drive was interesting and a bit longer that I thought it would be. Grand Coulee and Electric City were very interesting. I don't know why or how anybody could live there. The bike ended up being perfect so we bought it. Here is Roxy the Rebel!

Cam is going to sale his bike (hopefully this weekend) and then buy a road bike like mine. Should be a fun summer!

New Furniture
I know these 2 photos are a long time in coming, but better late than never! Here is what our new living room additions look like. I love the hutch, the top pulls out into a buffet. The plant is new also, her name is Patty.

Weekend Fun
It was a little sad that technically our weekend was an hour shorter because of DST. On Friday we went to Qdoba for dinner (shocking since we go there EVERY weekend) and then we had a drink at Press. After that we went shopping (Costco, Mall, & Target). Paydays are always the greatest. :)
On Saturday Cam headed downtown to partake in all of the St. Patty's day festivities while I was at the gym burning those calories. I had class at 7am and then I stayed and worked out for another 90 minutes. I was tired when I was done.
When I got home I took the girls with me to Starbucks to get a puppy treat, and to get a treat for myself. I haven't had a latte for over 3 weeks so it was just a tea for me and whip cream for them. Their treat looked better than mine. Haha. I don't think that it is fair for Starbucks to have such wonderful new treats right now when I am trying to lose weight. They have cake pops and Red Velvet whoopie pie. I wanted one of each! After we got our treats we cleaned house and then went for a walk waiting for Cam to get home. After Cam got home we went to the motorcycle show at the fairgrounds. It was a lot of fun. Lots of cool bikes to look at and very interesting people watching opportunities. There were a couple of bikes that Cam really liked.
Saturday night was Fro-Yo night! Yum! After that we went to the movies and saw "The Adjustment Bureau". We both agreed that it was one of the better movies that we had seen in a long time. I highly recommend watching it.
Sunday is my sleep in day with the girls. It is the only day of the week that I get to wake up whenever I want. We got up about 8:30 and made breakfast and then I went running. The weather was perfect! I don't want to jinx it or anything, but it really is starting to look and feel like spring.
