April showers bring May flowers...

Since mother nature isn't cooperating, lets hope that she gets this weather figured out because it is depressing. I don't like dark & dreary days when it is almost May. Makes me feel blah!

Well, I have been super duper busy lately. In between working at Deaconess, working out, being a wife to Cam & mommy to Tia & Maisy I have also decided to start my own business. I am quickly learning that there isn't enough hours in the day anymore. 5-6 hours of sleep a night isn't cutting it right now. I have been living off of coffee in the morning. My little business, DivaBands, is coming together quite nicely though. I am very excited about it! My website is http://www.mydivabands.com/. Spread the word. :)

Last weekend I had my 2nd lesson on Roxy. I officially drove her around the block 5 times. :) My endorsement class is coming up in 2 weeks, yikes! I hope that I pass.....Cam and I took his new bike out for a ride this weekend and it was fun. I have my own motorcycle jacket now, so you can say that I am "legit".

Cam has been busy with work, school, and finishing our basement project that has gone on for over a year now. I can't wait to have the office space done so that I don't have to engulf our kitchen table with DivaBands.....

We are also in the process of selling the Jeep. I am looking at getting a peal white Acura TL. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we can say "adios" to Candy this week....

Snow in April?

I am beginning to think that mother nature is really confused. This last week it has been bone chilling cold in the morning and we have had snow. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. This winter has been dragging on way to long. If it doesn't start to turn for the better soon, I might just move some place warm (sorry Cam!).

Spring Cleaning

Ah, spring cleaning is the nicest way to put it. It is more like getting rid of crap, but that doesn't sound as nice. I enjoyed being able to stay home for the weekend, but then I kep on adding stuff to my "to do" list and pretty soon it was a mile long! I felt like I cleaned all weekend, but our house looks good so I am happy for the moment. I have another huge bag to donate to goodwill and I will be more than thrilled to drop it off.

We finally purchased our bistro table to put in the kitchen. We had been looking at the same table at Target for several weeks and they finally put it on clearance. It was a steal of a deal! Cam put it together last night. It looks really nice and complements the space and our other furniture.

The next couple of weeks are shaping up to be pretty busy.....let the craziness begin!

Olympia

In typical fashion we had to cram a million things into our weekend. Of course, this weekend was no exception. While we both ran around town and did errands on Friday we were also getting ready to leave for Olympia in the morning. I usually spend Saturday morning doing stuff around the house so I was feeling slightly flustered after work on Friday. Both of our work weeks were really busy and I didn't get much done around the house. Cam started spring quarter so he was gone on both Wednesday & Thursday night and my planner was full of activities to keep me busy.

The reason for our quick and randomly planned trip was so that we could transport Cam's Mazda to his uncle's house. His uncle had purchased the pick up several weeks ago and with his busy schedule he didn't know when he would be available to make the trip to Spokane to retrieve it. He also happened to have a motorcycle that Cam wanted to look at because he was thinking about buying it. Conveniently, he sold his motorcycle on Thursday.

I was pretty tired from the week in general, but was even more exhausted after my class on Saturday. We had to drive separately so by the time we arrive in Olympia I could barely keep my eyes open. Once we got settled in, I took about a 90 minute nap and that never happens. It was awesome and much needed. I could have kept on sleeping, but I didn't want to miss dinner!

I got up early and had an awesome and scenic 10 mile run through Olympia. It was refreshing and fun to run in a different location for a change.

Cam decided to purchase his uncle's motorcycle so we brought that back to Spokane with us. It matches Roxy quite nicely, but doesn't have a name yet. I will post pictures once Cam gets it cleaned up.
