The results are in....

.....my diet really does suck! I am now on a very strict diet that requires a ton of protein intake everyday. I feel so full right now, but I know that I need to keep on eating if i want to get better. My protein, iron, potassium, magnesium and just about everything else was "alarmingly low" in my blood work that I had done. On top of being severely protein deprived, I am also anemic and hypoglycemic. At least I know that everything is fixable, I just need to especially work on getting more protein; 90 grams per day to be exact! My dietician has me on a stict diet so I am measuring and writing down everything I eat. I will re-evaluate my consumption in a couple of days to see where I am at. In 3 weeks I will have more blood work done to see if I am improving or not. Let's hope that I will be much improved! The dietician and doctor both said no long runs or hard workouts for 2-3 weeks to let my body recover and start to feel more normal again. That is kind of lame with Boston so close, but I need to start feeling better. The last month or so has been awful. Having no energy isn't something I can have with the gazillion things I need to do everyday. Well, I guess I better stop blabbing and go eat a fruit cup! :)
